Hamilton is one of the newest Bear Fever Bears to be installed. You can find him outside of the M&T Bank on East Philadelphia Avenue. He is M&T Bank’s mascot. The bank’s mission is to support members of the surrounding community and its unique history.
Jeff Graber is the artist that designed Hamilton. He incorporated the bank’s mission by painting a vignette of people, young and old, holding hands and being part of a community. Jeff added pictures of various Boyertown businesses, such as The State Theater, Colebrookdale Railroad and the Museum of Historic Vehicles. Also included are nods to the surrounding farmlands and orchards that Boyertown is famous for. This reflects the bank’s philosophy that all are welcome.
But most importantly, Hamilton’s nose and eyes sport the logo representing community. This exemplifies M&T Bank’s mission statement. They value the community they reside in but also value those within that community. You can also find other themes that relate to the banking industry: Hamilton’s ears show dollar sign coins, and his toes feature those same coins on his nails. He was obviously groomed for his debut!
